The Slaughter of Gazans
The Slaughter of Gazans
A Dose of Sanity for October 16th, 2025
The lion’s share of the price of peace is paid by the innocent. Hamas in their infinite depravity have temporarily reasserted control across their territory by executing Gazans in the streets; so many that President Trump is now threatening to ‘kill’ Hamas if they don’t stop the killing. The images and videos are extraordinarily graphic, and I do not recommend watching. We all saw enough of this with ISIS—Daesh.
Let it be known, world, that these people did not have to die. The solution to save their and thousands on thousands of lives was right in front of you the whole time. But you couldn’t swallow your innate biases long enough to even consider the possibility of asserting pressure to end the war not on Israel, but on Hamas and their backers like Qatar and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Through your support, both direct and indirect, of Hamas, they had enough ground left to stand on between the hostages and Israel’s innate desire for peace that they negotiated the ability to reassert control across their designated territory, in the only way they knew how. Bloodshed and murder.
Hamas was democratically elected to govern Gaza in 2006 according to rules imposed on Gazans by people like President George W. Bush, who simply could not understand the philosophical and cultural mindsets of the population he was dealing with. Thing about organizations like Hamas is, you only ever need to vote for them once, and then you won’t ever get to vote again. And on the subject of the hostages, where are the final remaining? Don’t tell me that psychotic killers such as the ones that comprise Hamas would lose such trophies of their victory as the dead bodies they so enjoy parading around. Wherever they are, they must be found and returned IMMEDIATELY. Any and all information as to the whereabouts of the bodies of the last hostages must be given over, as Hamas is now in violation of their agreements under the peace deal that supposedly has ended the Simchat Torah war of 2023.
Look, I too have given my heart to hope. I want the lasting peace we all deserve. The hope of the entirety of future humanity. And if President Trump somehow through his own connections with Qatar can continue exerting pressure towards actual peace, maybe…just maybe…this will work out okay. It hasn’t worked out okay for dozens of Gazans in the past days—but you won’t for a second catch a “pro-Palestiner” mourning their passing.
Because as the old adage is continually proven accurate: ‘No Jews, no news.’
May there finally be lasting peace over Jerusalem.
